For welding-type cells, you can use nickel strips (recommended thickness: 0.1-0.2mm) and a spot welder to connect the positive/negative terminals. If you prefer a detachable solution, solder tabs or bolt-on terminals (with compatible nuts/bolts) can be attached to the cell’s metal casing.
